Atal Bihari Vajpayee still in ICU, but condition improves

Former Prime Minister Atal Behari Vajpayee, 84, who is being treated for a chest infection at AIIMS Delhi hospital, is still in ICU (intensive care unit) but showing signs of improvement, AIIMS doctors said.
D K Sharma, AIIMS medical superintendent, said "Mr. Vajpayee's condition is fine. He is breathing on his own. His vital parameters like blood pressure level, liver and kidney are stable".
All the basic parameters of the former Prime Minister are normal.
The veteran BJP leader was admitted to AIIMS hospital on the 3rd of this month following chest infection.
